Hi I'd like to know if anyone has heard of a place that serves bubble tea in Paris. Bubble tea is also called zhenzhou pearl or tapioca pearl tea, it is a sweet milky tea with tapioca pearls in it. Sometimes it is fruit flavored. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Etienne,

Just back about 10 days ago from Paris and didn't notice any "bubble tea". I like having them once in a while especially on a warm sunny day. While in Paris, we've had a good ten days of continuous cold (very cold) days with the weather front coming in from Siberia so maybe it's best to start looking for them when the warmer spring and hot summer months come.

Maybe Clotilde can keep her eyes open - I know there are several of these shops in Mountain View where she used to live.

Good luck and keep looking!

i was wandering around the other day and think i saw a place on or around rue chabanais in the 1st. i know that's probably not terribly helpful, but if you are in the neighborhood...

it's near the old national library, where i do research. i go there about once a week so i'll take note next time.

There is also a shop near gare St Lazare. Can't remember exactly which street though. Sorry

Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions guys...I think I found the place you mentioned, I'll do a post on it when I finally manage to go there! It's called Zen Zoo, it's at M: 4 septembre, and they have a very informative website: http://www.zen-zoo.com/

Hello all,

I finally got the chance to go and it was lovely! Very cute tea salon and the bubble tea was delicious and refreshing. I did a post about it here - http://etiennemarcel.blogspot.com/2006/04/zen-zoo.html

Thanks again for your suggestions!
