Depending on the body of water, it could definitely be a fairyland. I've heard of tours in "glass" bottom boats -- in Hawaii I think.
How about a ride in a plane with a transparent floor? No? Thought so.

One time, I went for a ride through night-time Chicago in a client's helicopter that had a transparent bubble for the passenger area. It was just the pilot and I, and it seemed like we were suspended in air gliding between the downtown buildings, all lit up, with ribbons of cars passing by underneath us. It was a very cool sensation. Then the pilot decided to have some fun with me, so he turned the helicopter on its side, leaving me flat against the transparent door about to fall onto the streets below, it seemed. I didn't know that helicopters could do that without crashing. And I couldn't remember whether I'd locked the transparent door after I got in. The pilot said sometimes he got bored just flying people around. _________________ The goal is to fit it all in. |

Did he mention how he feel about ricocheting vomit? _________________ God writes a lot of comedy... the trouble is, he's stuck with so many bad actors who don't know how to play funny. -- Garrison Keillor |

Seriously, Chicago Bear, could you sue someone for doing that to you? Yikes.

I didn't throw up, as it turned out, but if my heart had stopped like I thought it was going to, then yes, I could have sued. Or I guess it would have been my estate that would have sued. There is a cause of action for intentional infliction of emotional distress. It's not available against teenage children or dismally performing sports teams. And Rainey, I know what you're about to say, but no, it's not available against people in the Oval Office. _________________ The goal is to fit it all in. |

No matter. I am content to let the infinite deal with it. ...long as I can mete out infinitely more colorful consequences than legal actions in my imagination in the meantime. _________________ God writes a lot of comedy... the trouble is, he's stuck with so many bad actors who don't know how to play funny. -- Garrison Keillor |

Thanks for that website - the transparent boat looks great and I like the idea of a private floating island too! (good name, isn't it?!)
