Hurray! I just recieved my copy of Chocolate & Zucchini today that Justin aka np36 sent me from the booksigning in Boston. I can honestly state with a great deal of certaintity that this is the only copy in Iraq. It was most definitely the bright spot in my day. I just want to thank Clotilde for the inscription and Justin for doing this for me. I sent Justin a picture of me with the book. If he wants he can post it on his website so anyone can see the happy smile on my face. _________________ Live as if to die tomorrow. Learn as if to live forever.

Bainst,
... that's the good news, just wait until your mates find out and they'll 'promote' you to chef!! Keep it hid and read in private or you'll be cooking for everyone!! Tho' that might be a good way to experiment...!! _________________ Confusion comes fitted as standard. |

Oh my god that is just so neat!! Justin you are a gem, and I'm sure bainst is well deserving. The ONLY copy in an entire country--I love it! _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

Wow, I think the shipping to Iraq is faster than the shipping to Alaska! I just got my copy yesterday as well, so maybe we were co-reading.
Enjoy and take care!

Justin's photos of the Chez Henri dinner are at

The last photo is of Clotilde signing bainst's book. Maybe Justin will add one more photo - of bainst with the signed book in Iraq! That would really complete the photo gallery.
Don't we live in a wonderful amazing world? And I'm sure this is just one of many C&Z stories. _________________ Doing what you like is freedom

I love how my getting a copy of C&Z has become a worldwide event. It really does show how food, friendship, and books can bring people together. _________________ Live as if to die tomorrow. Learn as if to live forever.
