Hi there--I was wondering if anyone wants to do a newspaper food section exchange. I have access to the NY Times, SF Chronicle, LA Times and San Diego Union-Tribune. I could send these about once a month. I'm interested in receiving anything, even if it's not in English.

Thanks!

What a GREAT idea. Unfortunately, I can't help much 'cause I'm limited to the LA Times which you already have...

Adelaide's own newspaper, The Advertiser, has a weekly food and wine section each Wednesday.

Scroll down the links on the left hand side till you find 'Food' under the Lifestyle section.

Here's a link to the online food section of the Dallas Morning News:

David, there's a feature on cakes! The bourbon spice cake sounds delicious, just right for coffee or tea. There's also a write-up on the recent foodie event, "Savor Dallas", and lots of other good stuff.

Happy Texas Independence Day! Texas is the only state in the continental US which was once an independent country.

Thanks for all the replies. I was talking about mailing, the old-fashioned way, the paper food sections. (I'm weird that way--love the internet, but still love to hold a nice cookbook or food section or magazine in my hands.) But links to your local newspaper sections are just as wonderful and I really appreciate your posting them!

Thanks for the heads up there! Will check it out. Must say the combo sounds very interesting!

And enjoy your special day all you Texans!

And a Happy 101st birthday to Theodore Geisl (aka Dr. Seuss) wherever he may be.
