Surprised to see that no one here is discussing this issue of CEO John Mackey of Whole Foods posting on a Yahoo stock forum for the past 7 years under an alias.
I thought I remember a bunch of C&Zs who shopped at Whole Foods and Wild Oats.
I think it unwise of him to be behaving this way. The equivalent would be someone like me turning out to be the owner of a haught-cuisine restaurant.
Of course, we never allowed either of these grocers in the great Red state of Alabama _________________ ' She says, 'I am the glamorous type.' I said, 'So what?' |

Sarape,
Could you share more about this or provide a link? I am a regular WF shopper and am interested to learn more. |

Yea, I've been doing other things. I painted the entire inside of my house -- doors, trim, windows, ceilings, and walls this past winter.
And I have started building some hi-fi vacuum-tube amps recently (hobby stuff).
And I've been a thorough reader of The Wall Street Journal. I've found it to be a wonderful newspaper.
I'll try and stay tuned to C&Z. _________________ ' She says, 'I am the glamorous type.' I said, 'So what?' |

Interesting stuff. If I'm honest, I don't really have a problem with anonymous postings on the internet, but to me it seems a bit pathetic that Mackey would praise himself on the internet using a pseudo identity
Talking of Whole Foods reminded me of an article I read in a Times supplement recently, that totally cracked me up! Found it on the internet for you guys. I haven't been to the store yet, can't decide whether I want to....!!

Well that wasn't high praise for Whole Foods! I think Whole Foods in the USA has a better reputation, but I've never shopped in one.
On Internet anonymity I'm probably with the majority -- I think everyone, except me, should provide their real name and address |
