I have not forgotten you either, dear Tamar, as the local rep of C &Z, I owe you dinner out on the town! But sigh, it has been a busy month for me as well, disasters at work, turning 40 and gearing up for the NYC marathon (gulp). I should be back on a normal schedule by mid November, and hopefully, you will be settled in as well.
Then we can add to the the 'joy of meeting C&Z'ers face to face' thread, ok?
Meanwhile, don't hesitate to ask any questions about the area, especially food questions! I would love to help in any way I can.
Welcome Home! Enjoy the glories of Mt. Rainier and Pike Place Market. If you go down to Portland sometime, stop in at Cacao. It is hot chocolate heaven.
I am still stuck trying to work out what to send Tamar... how about...? Will she like it? What if she doesn't?! What if it takes so long to get to her it goes off?!!!
Tamar, sweetheart... is there anything you particularly miss and can't get there? Do you drink wine? Is there anything you're allergic to? I mean apart from people shooting at you obviously...! (Oi! Stop shooting at our Tamar or I'll tell your dad!)
I have a couple of ideas which are chocolate and wine related tho' I don't know how that works as far as paying duty goes and I don't want you paying duty on it. But if there are things you'd like especially, let me know and I'll see what I can do. _________________ Confusion comes fitted as standard.
