I have not forgotten you either, dear Tamar, as the local rep of C &Z, I owe you dinner out on the town! But sigh, it has been a busy month for me as well, disasters at work, turning 40 and gearing up for the NYC marathon (gulp). I should be back on a normal schedule by mid November, and hopefully, you will be settled in as well.

Then we can add to the the 'joy of meeting C&Z'ers face to face' thread, ok?

Meanwhile, don't hesitate to ask any questions about the area, especially food questions! I would love to help in any way I can.

Welcome Home! Enjoy the glories of Mt. Rainier and Pike Place Market. If you go down to Portland sometime, stop in at Cacao. It is hot chocolate heaven.

I am still stuck trying to work out what to send Tamar... how about...? Will she like it? What if she doesn't?! What if it takes so long to get to her it goes off?!!!

Tamar, sweetheart... is there anything you particularly miss and can't get there? Do you drink wine? Is there anything you're allergic to? I mean apart from people shooting at you obviously...! Shocked (Oi! Stop shooting at our Tamar or I'll tell your dad!)

I have a couple of ideas which are chocolate and wine related tho' I don't know how that works as far as paying duty goes and I don't want you paying duty on it. But if there are things you'd like especially, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Here's a link just for you, Tamara, until I get my act together and do some baking. http://www.slashfood.com/2007/10/28/the-history-of-hot-chocolate/

Don't you just love the pottery? I do!

I want to thank everyone for being so nice. Julielynn, I'm definitley going to have to check Cacao, it sounds divine. I might have to catch the train or bus next weekend. Griffin, dear, please to stress, that the fact you care so much is gift enough. Anything British, I love, except beans on toast. I just can't do it. Wink Rainey, I wait breathlessly. Simonelse, once again a, thank you for the lovely greeting. And, to everyone else once again thank you. I working on a Fliker page so everyone can what I was up to during my year-long tour. As soon as it is ready, I will post the link. And last but not least, I want to thank R. Malone for sending me a See Candy gift card. I live by the motto that you can never have too much choclate.
