The first time I heard his voice ..I can remember stopping..stopping..drinking it in..a voice of here and out there...beyond beyond voice...I asked the shop assistant who was singing...he smiled..he knew...his face told me I'd be walking out of the shop with the cd...joyously so...he was sharing wonder with me...

this one seems to stop half way ..never mind...an introduction to the man...

perhaps you, too, will have Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu's voice drifting through you home...

a few days back I had the cd playing as friends arrived... they left with his name written on paper...

Lovely! Truly lovely! I've just recently been introduced to Secret Garden, a wondrous duo from Norway.

What a pleasure to accidentally find something you immediately dig, & know you'll always enjoy. (I guess that's 'love at first sight'.) Thank you Madame!

Here's a voice I love, Carolyn Hester,
one gorgeous solo treat, one with little Bobby Dylan playing harmonica in the background from a 1962 album. She just knocks me out.

Thanks for the wonderful link, madame! I had not heard of him.

I was a little shocked at the price of his CD, Gurrumul, on amazon.com: $49 USD!!

Funny, the same CD can be downloaded on iTunes for 9.99. Wonder if amazon has a misprint. Gracious!
