Dear Friends!

My daughter came across this via a review in Filmspotting...she then found it at our local library.

Stay with me Wink

Yesterday I weeded weeded weeded (in the rain ..simply because it was fun...plastic poncho etc...husband concerned I'd catch my death of cold etc)...

After I finished, Siegfried suggested I have a very warm shower and get into some serious warm clothing. OK.

I thought I deserved some screen-watching time. Disc 1 ...I was hooked! In fact I watched the first 3 episodes, made a quick pasta dinner, 'n then watched the last 3 episodes. Stunning work..writing, acting, directing, art direction..the lot....a potent mix of politics, media, and big big big business etc..

'n came across this on imdb in relation to Netflix:
I waited many weeks also and finally removed it from my queue. I placed it back in my queue after several months and got it right away. My wife and I started watching it at 7PM and were so drawn in we watched all 6 hours at once. It was fantastic and the acting perfect. Great job as usual for the BBC.

Not often do I sit for hours...last time was the French series "Spiral"..oh my that was simply stunning..

so there you go dears...highly recommended..
