When reading Clotilde's post about how the wayward use of the colloquial phrase "pédaler dans la semoule" in conversation might unintentionally result in a French person finding it endearing and falling in love with you . . . my memory jogged itself to a memorable skit from my Chinese class in college.
We were learning words related to food like "dumpling" "hot" "cold" and "chopsticks" and for one class, we had to develop skits using these vocabulary words. The most memorable skit was done by two guys and a girl, where each guy took turns saying incredibly cheesy pick-up lines to the girl in Chinese using the vocabulary we were learning.
The best pick-up line was:
"If you were a dumpling, I would eat you slowly because you are so hot."
(Ruguo ni shi yi ge jiaozi, wo ni chi de chi hen man yingwei ni tai re le!")
I haven't tried it, but the effect on the class was uncontrollable laughter. _________________ "Help! Help! I'm being repressed!" --- Monty Python and the Holy Grail

There is this forward classic:
