Seeing the dearth of food options and the prices for everything, I've started carrying my old tiffin box to work:

When I was little I had a gigantic one, with about 4 or 5 layers. They are great for packing leftover Indian meals. Stainless steel, so you can't use them to reheat the food in a microwave. But very sturdy. and shiny to boot. Very Happy

I still want one of the bento boxes.... especially after needing to take lunches to work this week.

I have a cute little isotherm bag, but it is just not the same thing.

Yesterday was potato, smoked salmon and asparagus with lemon juice and zest, parsley and a dollop of creme fraisch all mixed up into a yummy potato salad.

Today was real sushi.

Tomorrow, who knows???

Shall have to think about plans soon in case I need to visit the supermarket. It would be a bit piggy to have sushi 2 days running... Laughing
