Don't worry, I know from experience you'll be making it again soon. You'll just get a little hankerin' .. and it's SO easy to put together ..

(Try it with brown sugar!)

Mmel'ours-- Told ya you'd make it again soon! Your hazelnuts reminded me--

Another of Clotilde's recipes here is almost as easy, it's the "Cinq-Cinquiemes a la Pistache" cake. Needs no adornment, a knockout!

Tried it with hazelnuts and orange with a shot of cinnamon. Happy Easter doesn't begin to cover it!! WOW!

Isn't this recipe THE BEST ever? I love it, and the possibilities for variation are almost limitless.

I think every schoolkid should learn to bake this cake ... and indeed, they do in France, don't they?
