Against my will, in the course of my travels, the belief that everything worth knowing was known at Cambridge gradually wore off. In this respect my travels were very useful to me. -Bertrand Russell philosopher, mathematician, author, Nobel laureate (1872-1970)
the joy of the travel
the adventure of the travel
the energy of the travel
the opportunity of the travel
the (at times ) travail of the travel
the quirkiness of stationary travel
surreal travel
invisible travel
the reality of the travelling tourist
the moment of travel
the given and accepted journey of a life
whatever the span

For me the ANTICIPATION of travel, the planning and reading is almost as much fun as the adventure itself. Although our main holiday is yet 5 months away We already have books, websites etc and I'm trying to track down a beginner Italian summer class! And looking for an Italian food dictionary like the cute little ones we take to France. _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |
