I just started a new "i heart nyc" blogsight (combination of a blog and a websight) to compliment my "i heart paris" sight. I will write about my eating and cooking adventures in NYC. The first post is up and it a little restaurant I frequent called Elephant & Castle in The Village.
Check it out!

I found your Elephant & Castle review to be quite helpful. Very clear, descriptive writing. I like the pictures. When I'm in NYC, I look for imaginative but high end ingredient restaurants. It doesn't have to be expensive, but there needs to be something distinctive. We went to a restaurant called Havana Central last year on 17th Street, because my daughter had to have cuban food. The menu was a little uneven, but at least two of the dishes that we had were sensational. One was chicken chicaronnes. And the other was some kind of pork. _________________ The goal is to fit it all in. |

Have fun with your websites Richard. I had a good look at the Paris restaurant section and was thoroughly entertained...keep them going! _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

swan- Did you travel all the way to NYC for the same event that clotilde is attending? It must be quite a shindig!
Have a fabulous time! You know, there's still a Dutch legacy to the area up and down the Hudson. I came from an area where everything was one kind of "...kill" or another. And, of course, NYC was once New Amsterdam. I wonder if there's a guidebook to those features of the city. In any case, I warrant you'll find lots of names that are quite familiar sounding. _________________ God writes a lot of comedy... the trouble is, he's stuck with so many bad actors who don't know how to play funny. -- Garrison Keillor |
