I like Epicurious, but I am a Gourmet subscriber. I always read the notes and only look at top ratings. These are features I like.

I like this site (C&Z) a lot for upscale ideas.

Food Network is good, but I am disgruntled about the quality of shows for cooking. Getting rid of Molto Mario and Sara Moulton was a lousy move. In the meantime, Rachel Ray and Semi-Homemade (Sandra Lee) continue to run. I would say, over time, the quality of the recipes available there will reflect this as well.

Leite's Culinaria is good as well. And, if you feel like venturing out into other blog sites, my site has several recipes and growing on it as well. See signature.

www.finedinings.com is a great site! I made my husband a nine course dinner for Valentine's Day all from this site. Everything, including the ice cream and sorbet, was from scratch!

Try food411.com - it is a great resource for food finds but also has all the quality recipes sites included, they also have a great feature where you can ask their chef any question.

my very faves are three French ones:

Marmiton (www.marmiton.org) which is ZE reference site for recipes in France (with useful commentaries and ratings)

Cakes in the City (http://cakesinthecity.blogspot.com)
This is one of the best sites ive found for cakes and biscuits, they are always yum and not your average run-of-the-mill recipes

C'est moi qui l'ai fait! (http://scally.typepad.com) Another reference in French cooking blogs, Pascale is married to an Englishman, so her recipes often have a nice anglo touch, and are always reliable
