...ok, it's not the New York Times..........ok, ok, it's the Louisiana Market Bulletin(published by the La dept of Ag mainly for the farm ads) but it is a pretty good article on what I do and how I do it........it starts on page 12.... this is the link to the pdf doccument (you will need Adobe) warning this does take awhile to load http://www.ldaf.state.la.us/multimedia/marketing/marketbulletin/mb2006-06-22.pdf if for some reason this does not work......
go to this page and click on the June 22 edition (complete copy) http://www.ldaf.state.la.us/divisions/marketing/marketbulletin/on-line-issues.asp
note you relize by sharing this with you I am revealing the Pesto Man's secret identity (I trust you to be discreet.....this would be dangerous if it fell into the hands of my enemies _________________ I would like a gin martini, straight up, olives on the side, as dry as my wit, as clean as my conscience.

Fantastic Pesto Man! That's a great article.
You cannot imagine the craving I now have for pesto after reading that. I think I'm going to have to go and buy a big bunch of basil.... |

I could almost taste the pesto!!! At our local market-Red Hill, I buy a wonderful pesto from Paul a retired bank manager. I recently enjoyed making a lemon parsley pesto that was yummy with linguine. Thanks for sharing the article. |

Ooo, Kabbles. Can you share the lemon parsley pesto recipe? I'm so into alternative pestos! I recently had a sandwich with cilantro pesto in a restaurant and that was sublime. |

Wow, Pesto man, that's terrific! What a sense of accomplishment, just like you said, of being able to say at the end of the day, "I made that." Completely, from start to finish!
Here's to your continued success! |

Wowee-zowee!!!!
I am sending this link to my sister in Baton Rouge - she will be in NOLA next week for a convention (LA Farm Bureau) and will surely drop by!
Congratulations on making it look easy! I know from Marsha how difficult even simple things are right now in LA, so you are surely a beacon of light!
All the best - and the next time I'm down there, I'm definitely meeting you for a martini! I'll bring the olives! _________________ L'appetit vient en mangeant. -Rabelais |

That is very cool Pesto Man! Though I did expect a cape, or was that your version of Clark Kent's glasses?
