Lol madame
I adore that piece, it's brilliant. I love art that makes people think, that questions them, thats quirky and fun. Not to say I don't like the classics/traditionals, I do...but there's certainly more to the world of art than just artists talent and being able to use a brush
My Opa is very much like that, a 'classic/traditional' art lover...never really understood the sculptures that I did at school |

Gisele ~ your comment reminded me of two friends...who, at different times, have commented about the way I write..the dot dot dots...I CAN write formally..letters to the Editor etc...however my thoughts flow as the words appear..my daughter would confirm that with a roll of her beautiful blue eyes
oh..back to the comments....they both see the free flow, and one in particular said he'd find it difficult to let go of the formal grammar training...he's 60 and an English teacher...
the other...said it showed him you don't HAVE to always be formally correct in writing...golly..have fun I doth say...
more photos soon...
glass raised to the inventors of the digital camera..such a gift to the photographer in each of our souls...

Madame - My friends like to tease me about being addicted to ellipses (?)

Ah hah....here we go...
This was taken along the waterfront in Wellington, they have different poems/prose from local New Zealand writers/poems inscribed on conrete blocks like this and then they place them around the waterfront, so you can find them...
and this...
There are more, I only saw four...didn't walk around the waterfront enough, and then just gave up taken photos of them.
EDIT: I think that word in the bottom photo is supposed to say mussels |

gisele ~ ah, words 'n concrete! words on anything 'n I'm a happy chicken..
sensing you're an inscription soul...thought you might enjoy this:
http://www.ianmarr.com.au/rbgardens.html
I've a book on Derek Jarman's garden...(highly recommended) ...can you imagine living in a house with a John Donne poem on one of the outside walls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
truly faintable
am looking up at the closest wall and wonder...what would I write there...ummmmmmmmmmm will give it some thought..
when we were having an extension done...a big wall was to be demolished..to extend the room....we left marker pens nearby..and anyone who visited could write whatever on the wall....it was great fun....alas, the wall came down....Berlin Wall came down too
I know what I'd have on the wall..."sing the mystery tend the garden" _________________ "I've never accepted the external appearance of things as the whole truth. The world is much more elaborate than the nerves of our eye can tell us." - James Gleeson |

absolutely!...last January she took a beginner's course...was the youngest there...has gone into the whole Latin online thing...she loves languages....ancient things...
'n when she puts her mind to it..well...a sight to behold really!
she wanted to learn the flute..so, bought a flute on ebay...went to the library and found a book on how to play the flute..and off she went...can now pick up her flute and plays beautifully..
she did the same thing with knitting...an exquisite knitter...yet a couple of years back had never picked up needles..
quite a dame is our Soph!
not feeling all that well at the moment...so if you care to send her some warmth and energy am sure she'd receive it with open arms..
