I've been away for just a couple of days, and OOPS, I've missed the exact moment when our dear Rainey crossed the 2000 posts Rubicon. Though it was expected ( see my last posts on this issue, including David's well intended indiscrecy) , I think it's the "cats and dogs furbabies" topic who rapidly brought Rainey to be the FIRST 2000eer of this friendly blog!!
Congratulations to Rainey, and may many folow your steps!!
The BIG THREE TOPICS are still active, after many many months/ years:
- Let's go to the movies - 370 posts
- What are you currently reading 259 posts
- A special request 249 posts
No more war, more friendly dialogues! |

Aaaagh!! I had promised myself weeks ago (when I saw it was approaching) that my 1000th post would be addressed to you, Simona, the author of the C&Z Statistics thread... drat and double drat I missed the mark. Nevertheless, thank you at least one million times one thousand (1,000,000 x 1000) for all your
many many messages of peace..
and I appreciate the recognition! |

Thanks GP. Love your posts, and hope you're not going to slow down. I like so much ( and I'm sure many other forum friends too) your being positive about almost everything and always having a good word for everybody.
As for the most popular topics, nothing new there: we still love to go to movies ( 420 posts) , read books (322) and be there for special requests ( 249).
I noticed something else : there are many forum friends who are ready to answer the playful "c&Z" questionnaire, but far less ones ready to answer the Proust questionnaire . Could it be because we don't like madeleines. ?
No more war. Let's make peace without wasting anymore time " a la recherche to temps perdu" ,
No more war, more madeleines du "a cote de chez Swan" ( I think it's a good name for a bakery specializing in madeleines, don't you?) |
