Just ran across a little listing in a "Gifts for Cooks" article in one of the local papers and I'll quote from Sally Johnston's article!

"Roasted garlic Express, price $34.95 (Canadian) Ok, so no one wants another contribution to their apliance graveyard. But this attractive little device that's shaped like a garlic bulb not only works well it also has a quirky visual appeal. It roasts to perfection two or three garlic bulbs in exactly 27 minutes, fillint the house with a mouthwatering aroma. Ideal for occasions when you crave garlicky mashed potatoes, bruschetts or salad dressing but don't want to heat the oven. Automatic shut-off and easy to wipe clean. Available at www.jr.com or by calling 1-800-806-1115."

Doesn't that sound fun!!??

It IS kind of cute - looks a little like a garlic shaped robot! Laughing

I can imagine if I received one of these, it would soon be on the "least used kitchen tool" thread! Rolling Eyes

I am sooo not showing that to my father. He's a great one for electrical gadgets.

Donna, you wrote what I was thinking! It is cute, though.
