I've been away from the forums as I've been tied up with my Tatse Of Yellow blog event in support of Livestrong Day on 16th May. I have seen possibly the first blogger review of Clothilde's book by Joey at 80Breakfasts.

Thank you for this "first", Barbara--though this fairly sparse review left me hungry for more, she said impatiently! |

Please, one and all, when you get your copy and try a recipe!, don't be slow to post. All cooking from the same book will make a great thread, IM oh so HO. What to do while waiting to get your hands on the thing?
Clean off all your counters/make sure you know the quickest route to the shops in your area for any specialty ingredients/calibrate that oven! |

I dunno whom is more nervous and excited, we all or Clotilde?
I am sitting on my hands, (when not typing), biting my nails, trying to resist the urge to reach into the drawer for my credit card and then slowly, furtively, click that Amazon icon on my browser that sez, "One Click Ordering".
Clotilde, I wish you ever so much nachas (joy) with the release of your book. You bring a breath of fresh Parisian sunshine to us all, and look, just look what you have made!

Erin, I haven't dreamt about C&Z goings-on, but I did have a fleeting little fantasy about Clotilde being the guest on Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show"! |

I just went to Barnes and Noble to check it out (picking it up at Borders due to a gift cert later today)... It looks great! I can't wait to pick up my own copy. At first I was surprised at how small it was, since cookbooks are usually much larger in size (not page count) - but then I thought it would be perfect to take anywhere with me and read on the subway, at a cafe, etc.
Great job Clotilde! See in Boston on Thursday! _________________ FemmeBot
