Well its offical!!!! We are going back to PARIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like last time we will again be apartment/cat sitting for a friend who will be visiting family here! His apartment is in the 17th (directly across from the one we stayed last time)
We will arrive July 11, (we will be there for Bastille Day ) and we will leave (like most Parisians apparently) on Aug 2
as last time will greatfully accept any tips, suggestions, and hints as what to see, do and (most importantly) Eat!!!! especially on the inexpensive side as the current exchange rate, not to mention much more expensive tickets may put a damper on our available funds but certainly not on the fun I expect to have
looking forward to it _________________ I would like a gin martini, straight up, olives on the side, as dry as my wit, as clean as my conscience.

Isn't that great! We are excited about the new program and have been watching them fit out a shop and bicycle parking area near us.
Maybe you can do the friday night bike ride with Wayne one time? _________________ If you cannot feel your arteries hardening, eat more cheese. If you can, drink more red wine. Diet is just "die" with a "t" on the end. Exercise is walking into the kitchen. |

Oh you lucky man! Will you give Debbie a special hug from me? And Debbie you gotta give one back for me to Pesto Man! I am sooooo jealous I could die. After seeing PestoMan in person yesterday, I can confidently vouch for the fact that he is bouncing off the walls with excitement about this trip!
Another great reunion between friends- how cool is that?

Maybe we should have a birthday party for Barbara? We can tell you what we are planning on eating and drinking and toast your health and happiness for the following year.
I have confit de canard and foi gras waiting for the visitors to arrive. Who knows what other delicious treats I can come up with before then!
Rainey, you will have lots of hugs coming via Pestoman and Alisa. _________________ If you cannot feel your arteries hardening, eat more cheese. If you can, drink more red wine. Diet is just "die" with a "t" on the end. Exercise is walking into the kitchen. |

Oops silly me. But how I laughed this morning when I read David's comment. Thank you David, now I will start the day with a smile.
Debbie - I would enjoy my birthday dinner in Paris from Auckland and hopefully be there in 2008 for Bastille Day, Bryan's something zero birthday on 15th and my not quite a something zero on the 16th. _________________ Barbara |
