I know that the posts are dated, but fairly often someone will reply to a comment that was written weeks months or years ago. Do other forums have any feature to better alert new readers to how stale or fresh the posts are? (Colors and flashing lights and sirens would do.)
Of course, sometimes finding old stuff is pure serendipity..

Gingerpale, every forum I read has just the date to .... well, date it. I think it's interesting to see some of these topics again, and it must have taken quite some effort to find some of these old threads.
Someone on one of the online auction forums I read has been finding the oldest topics, which date back 4 & 5 years. The sad and interesting thing about them is that nothing has really changed and we still have the same problems now as they did then. Thankfully there are no such issues at C&Z.
A nice thing about the added posts to the old threads on C&Z is that they usually add more to the topic being discussed. Often a thread will come up and I'll think, 'gee, we haven't seen this one for a while'.
You're right, though, we do need to remind ourselves to look at the dates of the posts prior to the most recent. _________________ Doing what you like is freedom
