http://invisiblered.blogspot.com/2008/02/little-girl-giant.html

'n to think puppetry of some kind or another has been with us since around 30 000 BCE!!! what would those folk have thought of this...

a joy for me to experience this wonder, via youtube...

thanks to my daughter for sweetly alerting me to the clip...

at the end I felt like brushing the hair from her forehead

I do hope you enjoy...

Fabulous!!... and makes me wonder, what if... what if an actual giant girl came across this one? Would she take this one as a doll to play with? Would she talk to her and demand a conversation?

I loved the coats of her courtiers too!

oh yes to the coats...and to the boots...and to the funniness of the umbrella and the plastic ponchos....

it's lovely to watch minus the sound...

love it when she floats for a bit at the beginning...pre-shoe ...

the bucket near one of the arcmen

the sweet dress...

Griffin, I'm wondering about her dreams.......

so glad you enjoyed it!....I'll let Sophie know

For me, it's the sweet expression of her face that makes her so appealing. I wonder if seeing the "show" in person gives one a completely different feeling.

Here's some info about these puppeteers:

Magical! I loved it when she watched the children who were swinging on her arms! Too dear!

Thank you!

That was just wonderful! I loved the way the eyes moved with the tongue when she licked the lollipop or ice cream or whatever that was. Some job of coordinating all those movements!

And how about moving among that crowd!

What fun to be able to see it. And isn't it fantastic the way YouTube has made it possible for us to be "present" at so many unique things!
