Hi All...
In the midst of fruit mince pie making..for Papa who loves them so much..'n to take to pals in a few hours..along with holly branches tied with red and white striped ribbon...'n the pudding boiling (last minute I know )..in the midst of this..
I got to thinking about you all...how we travelled to this site...how without Clotilde's imagination we wouldn't have had this site to travel TO!
So, without further ado...here, for you all...the diversity of you all...all your ways of understanding existence...all your festivals celebrating...that which makes you smile, dance, wonder, reflect etcccccccccc
for you:
*the gorgeous sage that is growing so well in the herb patch
*the small walnut-sized tomatoes that are as happy as Larry to be tomatoes
*branches of holly tied with red 'n white striped ribbon
*mince pies for those who like them
*the duck pate that turned out quite nicely thank you very much!
*the music of Mr & Mrs 'n Baby Wren...who have set up nest in a tree near our front door
*the wellest of wellbeing wishes for you this day...and all days..
'n a special thank you to Clotilde...
hugs, of course _________________ "I've never accepted the external appearance of things as the whole truth. The world is much more elaborate than the nerves of our eye can tell us." - James Gleeson |

And hugs to you as well, Madame!
I second the Thank you to Clotilde for keeping this wonderful website going and to all the friends I've made at C&Z. It has been a wonderful year even though I was absent for a while.
Happy Holidays to all - peace and goodwill to all men!

I, too, thank Clotilde for bringing us all together. Without the acquaintance of some of you, I never would have had the support and encouragement to go to culinary school. As my first flirtation with the blogosphere and forums, I have really become a believer in the power of many minds that think alike.
Happy holidays to each and every one of you from Snowbound Southwest Portland! _________________ There is only one way to die- With a full stomach and a good tan. |

A very Happy Whatever-You-Celebrate to everyone who reads, posts and lurks here. Thanks for making the C&Z forums such a lovely place to visit.
Clotilde, from something that started off as one of Maxence's good ideas, you have created a whole community. Thank you both so much.
We had a deep-fried turkey for Christmas Day. Greg heard about it in the US a couple of years ago and has wanted to cook one ever since. It was THE BEST turkey any of us have ever eaten. _________________ Doing what you like is freedom

A belated Happy New Year to all! This has been my first year (ok, partial year) on C&Z and I have enjoyed it. That is I started reading the recipes a couple of years ago, but the forums have been the icing on the cake!
