old cookbooks

Thank you minty. It never occured to think of myself as old, either, and I'm from 1969 Very Happy

Funny how for books that's already old - and maybe for some books more the others. Cookbooks sooner than novels I would presume.

I love the way older cookbooks tell a story of time.

I don't own older cookbooks but I love the descriptions of the dinnerparties and kitchens and so on in some old 'books for young ladies' I own, romantic novels from the 1920's.
