I wasn't planning on this being the first dish I cooked from C&Z (that would have been the chocolate and raspberry cake... which has been postponed to next week), but last night I was nursing the tail end of a cold and needed something comforting and simple. And it certainly filled the bill! The artichoke and goat cheese spread for the soldiers is utterly addictive, and I'm very glad I have some left over just for spreading on a hunk of baguette (or eating straight, if I feel particularly greedy...)
