Hi everybody!!
I just baught my first kitchenaid and i decided to make a Coconut quatre quart for my first try! I hope you like it! It was a success, my boyfriend loved it and my parents also
Smooth quatre quart
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- their weight in butter
- their weight in sugar
- their weight in flour
- 1/2 baking powder
- 1 pinch of sal
- coconut
The secret of its smoothness:
- Beat butter and sugar untill the batter is creamy
- mix egg yolks one by one
- Sift flour, baking powder and coconut
- Beat eggs' white with the pinch of salt
- Add of the eggs' white into the batter and mix well.
- Add the other half lifting the batter over the whites.
- Put the batter into the mold
- Preheat oven 210°, and during 20 mins put the mold into the fridge.
- Put the mold into the oven 180°
-let it cook for about 20min
- If you deduce it needs more timing cook, let it cook for about 10 mins more
- Turn the cake out of the tin and let it cool. |
