I wanted to make the chocolate chili bites recipe for a dinner party, but I don't have any petit fours molds/mini cupcake baking pan. Plus, I wanted to make them larger - say, in a regular-sized muffin pan - and to serve them with some whipped cream/ice cream/whatever I feel like making/purchasing depending on time issues. Do you have any idea how long I should bake them for at that point? Should I use cupcake liners or will they unmold from the tins easily enough?

The chocolate chili bites will work fine in a larger size. It is originally a recipe for a regular-sized cake. I would bake them for about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how warm you oven runs, and I would use paper liners in the muffin tins.
Hope that helps, and do report back if you make them!
