I really enjoyed the discussion a few of us had about preparing for Thanksgiving in the US. It enhanced my experience of planning, executing and dining greatly.
Since food is such an important and culture-laden part of celebrations, I wonder, if there were a topic specifically about holiday foods, if we could expand our horizons and learn more about one another's festivals, foods and cultures. I'd enjoy that, myself.
Christmas and Channukah are approaching. It would be so interesting to compare how we prepare for them and celebrate them in various countries. Perhaps Kwaanza is spreading to other area of the world. No doubt there are holidays I've never heard of before but would love to learn about.
Thanks for considering this as a topic. |

I think it's a great idea Rainey, but why not move it out of this forum down to the main area. I bet you will spark quite the thread! _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |
