Well I am happy. It's my first published book and today it was reviewed in the paper, a little one. In happiness I thought I'd post it.
Ummm. it won't go-sorry-can't figure out why.
For Melbournians it was in Saturday's Herald Sun ( 25th march 2006).
It is on amazon.com if you want to read a sample, or buy it.
Its called: Poor and Mad in Melbourne: a recollection.
ISBN:097574660X
Thank you.

Thanks so much Rainey and Barbara.
I scanned the review-well, my H did and then he emailed it to me- it came up quite big, 84K, and when I tried to paste it into thread it wouldn't go. I am in the process of building a website- I bought bcbooks.com.au- and hope to post it there.
I can't give a link because I have not found it on the online version of the paper- they don't seem to have anything on books. So I have really muddled it up.
It's only a little review so i'll re-type it-
"This tiny book is one woman's brave attempt to come to terms with a troubling period in her life, and perhaps use her experience to help others. She tells how her efforts to be writer led her to "go down as far as I could" to gain life experience. Complicated by the death of her father and her stepfather, she ended up in a mental institution. After deciding she was sane, she pulls her life together and ends her journey as a wife and mother.
In a word: Honest"

Congratulations and hope it sells well. Better than that, I hope it is read and appreciated by everyone who picks it up! _________________ If you cannot feel your arteries hardening, eat more cheese.
